NANA OTUO OWOAHENE ACHEAMPONG (Privately known as Franklyn King Glover), is an all-round cultural administrator. He served in strategic positions at the governmental, traditional, and civil society levels. He is the Acting Executive Director of the National Commission on Culture (NCC), Ghana. He's also the Nkabomhene of the Kumawu Traditional Area in the Ashanti Region and the Chairperson of the Ghana Culture Forum, Ghana’s foremost civil society organisation for cultural practitioners. Additionally, he serves as National President of the Ghana Association of Visual Artists and an International Executive member/Coordinator for Africa at the International Association of Art (IAA).
Before he became involved in cultural administration, Nana practiced as a visual artist (painter). He had his undergraduate studies in Fine Art (BA) from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Kumasi. He also has a certificate in Event Management and Protocol from African Institute of Journalism and Communications, now called African University College of Communication, and a Post Graduate Diploma in Marketing from the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM-UK). He pursued graduate studies at the Ghana Institute of Management & Public Administration (GIMPA), Legon with an award of MA, Regional Integration & African Development.
