Invitation to Exhibition of its Paintings from 1940-1990

The Ghana Museums and Monuments Board (GMMB) wish to warmly invite you to the opening ceremony of the Exhibition of its Paintings from 1940-1990 (50 years) at the National Museum, Accra.

The objective of the exhibition is to celebrate the history of painting in Ghana and to showcase some of our pioneering painters.

The opening ceremony is at the National Museum, Barnes Road on Wednesday, 17 December 2014
 The Programme is as follows:

2:00pm – 4:00pm ‘Live’ Painting by Prof. Ablade Glover
4:30pm Lecture by Prof. Kojo Fosu
6:00pm Official Opening of Exhibition
6:30pm Cocktail reception
 
The exhibition runs from Wednesday, December 17, 2014 – Tuesday, March 17, 2015.
